The Pre-Event of “Assembridge Nagoya 2016” for music and art festival coming up in fall was held in March. The word “Assembridge” was made of “assemble” and “bridge”, hoping that music and art become a bridge in the port town to form new culture. MAT, Nagoya participated in organizing contemporary art exhibitions with the curator Hiroyuki Hattori, by comparing the Port of Nagoya area with a garden, along with workshops, talks and music lives around the city.

The exhibition was held at multiple venues in the port town as if it is an excursion, including earlier work show by participants of “Assembridge NAGOYA 2016” at Minatomachi POTLUCK BUILDING, along with some other places in the city.
